Jeanette has been a faithful member of Fort Hill United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She is an active member of the Sanctuary Choir, Martha Circle and is the treasurer of the Forrest Oglesby Sunday School Class.
Jeanette has been employed at Fort Hill UMC for 31 years. She worked part-time for 17 years as the Financial Secretary and the last 14 years as Administrative Assistant and Financial Secretary. She has also held volunteer positions through her time at Fort Hill as Sunday School Superintendent, Nursery Coordinator, Worship Committee Chair and President of two Sunday School classes. She has also taught children’s Sunday School and adult Sunday School classes.
She has been married to husband Ronnie for 39 years and has 4 wonderful children and 8 delightful grandchildren.
In her spare time, Jeanette loves:
- Getting together with family.
- Watching Western movies
- Some of her favorite destinations are Nova Scotia, New England, Texas and anywhere out West.
- Cooking and baking (“…as long as people will eat”) and entertaining.
