Fort Hill United Methodist Church in Lynchburg, VA

Sunday mornings at Fort Hill United Methodist Church in Lynchburg, VA are relaxed with a ‘come as you are’ atmosphere. You will see local church members wearing everything from suits to jeans and shorts. In response to current concerns related to the coronavirus, we follow best practices including the wearing of face masks and social distancing. In addition to 10:30 a.m. worship in the sanctuary, we offer a recorded online worship every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.  Morning worship includes a variety of music, relevant Bible readings, and messages designed to help persons grow in their faith in God and in their practice of faith as followers of Jesus.

Because of current safety concerns, Sunday School and other church activities are not being offered at this time.  We pray and look forward to the time when we will be able to resume church activities that include in-person Sunday School classes, nursery, Bible studies, and fellowship activities.
